First Post Yet..

Hey world. Not to be pessimistic, but probably only a handful of people (less than 10) will see this. Maybe if I publish a comment about something controversial, two dozen people will see it. If, in the case more than 24 people do see this, I will be very happy.

I'm a thirteen-year old male who lives in a city outside of Atlanta. My first name is Michael (see the URL) and I will be attending freshman year at a boarding school somewhere around Chattanooga. Unfortunately readers, that consist of a group less than 10 people, this first post will be about my likes and dislikes, so that you, as the reader, can get to know me better. I promise to make it up to you by publishing something more interesting next time.

Most of these like/dislike pairs are related, and most of them have to do with me being a Democrat and my addiction to videogames.

Like (more like love): Xbox 360. Hate: Playstation 3.

Like: Democrats. Generally Dislike: Republicans.

Like: Barack Obama. Hate: George Bush. Hate also: John McCain.

Like: Jon Stewart. Love (but not in a creepy way): Stephen Colbert.

Like: Reading. Dislike: Um.... not reading?

Like: Football. Dislike: Being suspended from football for two weeks because of problem with heels (more on that later).

Like: James Patterson. Dislike: Ann Coulter. (Yes, I know they write different things, but they're both authors)

Like: Halo 3, Call of Duty 4, Gears of War, Ninja Gaiden 2, and other bloody shoot (or slash)-em-up videogames for the Xbox 360. Love: The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion and Grand Theft Auto IV. Dislike extremely: Mostly Metal Gear Solid, but any successful PS3 exclusive will suffice. (But be warned, there isn't a lot of them. Zing!)

Like: Twilight. Dislike: New Moon and Eclipse. Will hopefully like, but hasn't read yet: Breaking Dawn

Like: You Suck (A Love Story) by Christopher Moore. Also likes: The irony in the title.

Looks forward to every month and loves: My OXM (Official Xbox Magazine). Feels good about, but not-so-strongly, and got it because he got a subscription with Ninja Gaiden 2: Game Informer.

Is tired from: Writing this blog.

I'll write soon, and hopefully about something more interesting than random likes and dislikes.
-Michael
